Take a look to some of Claire Marcus' collages done from her Monotype Prints and hand-printed papers.
This year, as she has for the past 10 years, Claire participated in the 19th International Collage Exhibit.
She sent 13 original 8x10 collages off to New Zealand where Dale Copeland (Master Collage Artist) co-ordinates an on-line exhibition and selling exhibit. Originally called Baker's Dozen Exhibition, it's also an exchange: You send 13 pieces and receive 11 back from Dale, who tries to match your taste according to your artwork!
This year 77 artists participated. It's quite an diverse show with artists from all over the world participating.
The Exhibition collages will be donated to Musee ArtColle in France and the Selling Exhibition will be in The Percy Thomson Gallery of Stratford, New Zealand.
